At Columbus Glasshouse, we offer a range of different unique glass solutions. Things we focus on are: Stained Glass restorations and new builds, Stained Glass Overlays, cabinet glass installations, window glass leadwork, and replacing and installing glass in homes and businesses. Everything is made to order, at the specifications you provide.

The duration of time it takes to install glass relies on how difficult and big the project is. Simple installs, like replacing cabinet glass or windows on the first floor, can normally be done in a few hours. 

If lifts or scaffolding is required, this would take a longer amount of time to complete. 

Once the glass is fabricated, the installation process is a breeze. Fabrication typically takes the longest amount of time.

Yes we do!

All work done on windows (leaded glass work) goes along with the window warranty, typically spanning 10 years, and under specific circumstances. Any questions you have about your specific window warranty should be asked to your sales team member or manager at the vendor you purchased the windows from. (Ex: Marvin Windows, Pella, Windsor, etc)

For Stained Glass Overlay, these pieces are warrantied for 10 years given that the lead has not been tampered with. In the event of complete damage, or shattering, Columbus Glasshouse is not liable for replacement of the glass piece. This RARELY happens due to the durable nature of the product, so reach out to us to chat if it does. We would be happy to figure out what we can do to help.

Installed stained glass pieces are covered under warranty exclusively for damages that were brought on by installation - EX: the adhesive or caulking gave out, causing the piece to fall and was damaged in the process.

Again this is very rare, but we want to help out in any way that we can. Outside of those circumstances, any repair of damages require payment for materials and time spent on the glass piece.

Pricing depends on a few different factors such as installation method, materials used, side, design complexity, etc. 

Once we get a reference picture for what you want to do, we can give you a rough estimate. Once we nail down a design, you will receive a final estimate for the work that includes fabrication and installation.

Because of the artistic nature of the product, we unfortunately cannot give you a one-size-fits-all price, but instead a range for what to expect.
